Founded by Sunna Guðnadóttir in Reykjavík, Iceland, Bjartsýn Films is dedicated to producing high-quality content with a strong focus on female-driven narratives and artistic integrity.

Among its acclaimed projects is Natatorium, a feature film premiered in early 2024 at the International Film Festival Rotterdam and SXSW in North America.

Currently, Bjartsýn Films is developing several children’s and family-oriented projects, including a TV series, a feature film aimed at children aged 8-12, and an animated series for children aged 6-8—all featuring lead female characters.
